I Don't Need Drugs to Love This

Anne Hathaway is amazing--My love first started when she suspended into stardom after Disney's insta-hit for girls everywhere, "The Princess Diaries." Since then, she's become even cooler, maturing into this hipster, yet glamorous A-list star. Her style proves these flattering words, as she's constantly leaving us guessing. While it was no guess that she would wear Armani Prive at tonight's Golden Globes, as she certainly wears him often to award shows, she nonetheless looked absolutely stunning. Nominated for her Best Actress in her latest film, "Love and Other Drugs" she pulled off yet another red carpet jaw dropper.

Simple, yet elegant. A beautiful structure that highlights her rockin' figure. Perhaps my best dressed pick, other than January Jones who wore Versace, or surprisingly, Jennifer Love Hewitt! --ya, ya, I KNOW-- J.Love is oh so Nineties and oh so desperate-seeming all the time, but her Ramona Keveza gown tonight was great. (by itself.) Her hair was off, and she was not worthy of such a dress.

.....and here's where I get bitchy. I'd like it better if her arms were slimmer...I know, I know, that's catty, and normally I'm all for my sistas having curves and embracing their bodies, but as every girl knows, the rule book and niceties we extend to common civilians goes out the window when it comes to celebs. Therefore, J.Love's aqua concoction, while lovely, would have looked great on someone with more toned, lithe and long arms, preferably Charlize Theron.

....but back to my love for Anne Hathaway. She is a style chameleon because she goes from such glamorous and magnificent couture gowns on the red carpets, to such hipster, vintage, and quirky outfits at places like Bonnaroo. Proving she's a total badass, clearly having awesome taste in music and designer drugs, she certainly is a lot cooler and down to earth than the American public probably knows. An example is below, a random pairing of vintage clothing that looks unmistakenly cool on her, yet would look absolutely ridiculous on any common folk like me. I'm sure her stylist Rachel Zoe's 70'sbohochic is rubbing off on her...

...perhaps Annie was inspired by another lovely and famous actress, Katharine Ross. The girl lucky enough to star in a film with both of the foxes Paul Newman AND Robert Redford, her western plains style in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" definitely appears as if it could have inspired Anne...two ladies I definitely wouldn't mind to grab a drink a with.
